Site of Saint Patrick's well is a memorial in County Dublin, Ireland. Perhaps Saint Patrick stood beside clear water, pouring it over hesitant heads while local inhabitants watched in wonder. Maybe the well flooded during that baptism, forcing everyone to wade ankle-deep in cold rainwater. Imagine the noise of dripping clothes and laughter echoing across County Dublin long after the saint departed.
Near here is the reputed site of the well where St Patrick baptised many of the local hinabitants in the fifth century A.D.
