What is recorded here
Site of Ancient Irish Dwelling is a hut site in Islandikane East, Islandikane South, County Waterford, Ireland. It lies partly on Sheep Island, an area being eroded into two islands by the sea, while the defences of the nearby promontory fort are on the mainland. A house site marked on the 1840 edition of the Ordnance Survey six-inch map was located within the east end of the defences, though Westropp failed to identify it.
