Simon's Nick is a sea cliff located in the Westmorland and Furness area, composed primarily of Carboniferous limestone, formed around 340–320 million years ago through the accumulation of marine sediments. The cliff is notable for its exposure of folded and faulted rock layers, reflecting the region’s history of tectonic activity during the Variscan orogeny.
