The *Silver Spray* was a motor trawler built in 1939 in Fleetwood, England, and was later registered in Scotland. It was lost in 1965 in a storm off the coast of Iolla Mhor, near Loch Broom in the North Minch, resulting in the deaths of all 12 crew members; the vessel was carrying a cargo of fish at the time.
