Shore Park

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Shore Park as Long Cist(s) (early Medieval), Short Cist (neolithic) - (bronze Age). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Neolithic and early medieval cist tombs; the site includes both a short cist (Neolithic/Bronze Age) and long cist (early medieval), reflecting long-term burial use of the landscape. The presence of multiple cist types indicates continuity of ritual practice in the area over a significant period.
