What is recorded here

Corner-sited three-bay single-storey shop and attached three-bay single-storey outbuilding, built c.1880. Lean-to slate roof to shop, and pitched slate roof to outbuilding. Hammer-dressed limestone walls built to courses with ashlar block-and-start quoins to shop. Random rubble limestone walls to outbuilding. Square-headed vertically divided display windows to shop, with stone sills. Square-headed door opening, with glazed timber panelled door, smooth rendered surround and limestone step. Square-headed single and double-leaf timber battened doors to outbuilding with red brick surrounds.
This prominently sited shop and outbuilding were built of similar materials to other buildings in the centre of Glaslough. Their simple elevations contrast pleasantly with the more formal elevations of the public houses and other structures opposite.

This does not grant access. Most recorded buildings are privately owned; view them only from public ground unless the owner allows entry.
