Kilpatrick, County Antrim: unknown owners incised ship sails and hulls into stone during the 18th or 19th century. The stones may have marked a harbour, a family claim, a fishing gift or a warning about drowning. They still point toward water because the chisels believed the sea could be owned, remembered or tamed.
