Seven Years Cove

Seven Years Cove consists of Upper Devonian slate and sandstone, formed around 380 million years ago through sedimentary deposition and subsequent regional metamorphism. The cove is notable for its well-exposed coastal cliffs, which provide a classic example of the transition between the Penwith Granite and overlying sedimentary rocks in west Cornwall.
