Scone Palace and Moot Hill preserve a medieval abbey, court hill, ditch and burial remains beside Perth and Kinross. The land still carries coins, animal bones and architectural fragments from that time. A person may have knelt at the abbey, watched a coin change hands or buried someone near the hill before the palace replaced the older shape.
