Scolpaig Tower , 1830 is a castle, fort or tower in Na h-Eileanan Siar, Scotland. Perhaps the stone walls held more than people, maybe they held the shape of every storm that struck the island and refused to leave. Maybe the tower was built to watch the sea, but the sea watched back, learning the rhythm of the lamps and waiting for the night they went dark. Imagine a keeper who stopped lighting the flame because the water had already memorised the path, and the tower stood empty only in the way a lung stands empty between breaths.
