This black commemorative plaque records: Dadorchuddiwyd y llechen hom gan Dafydd Wigley AC AS ar 29 Gorffennaf 200 i goffau sefydlu Plaid Genedlaethol Cymru mewn cyfarfod yn yr adeilad hwn 75 mlynedd ynghynt. Y chwe dyn yn y cyfarfod hwnnw oedd Moses Griffith, Fred Jones, H. R. Jones, Saunders Lewis, Lewis Valentine, D. Edmund Williams. This plaque was unveiled by Dafydd Wigley AM MP on July 29 200 to mark the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Welsh Nationalist Party at a meeting in this building. The six men present at that meeting were Moses Griffith, Fred Jones, H. R. Jones, Saunders Lewis, Lewis Valentine, D. Edmund Williams
Saunders Lewis was a prominent Welsh language activist and playwright who co-founded Plaid Cymru in 1925, advocating for Welsh nationalism and cultural revival; Moses Griffith, Fred Jones, Huw Robert Jones, Lewis Valentine, and David John Williams were also present at the founding meeting of Plaid Cymru, contributing to the establishment of a political party dedicated to Welsh autonomy and identity.
