What is recorded here
This blue commemorative plaque records: Sandiway House. This driveway was the original entrance to the house. The land which surrounded it was developed in the 1970s and access is now from Littledales Lane, named after the first owner, John Bolton Littledale. The property on the left was The Lodge. Recorded plaque organisation: Hartford Civic Society.
John Bolton Littledale owned Sandiway House, a significant local landmark; the nearby Littledales Lane commemorates his ownership and contribution to the area's development.
A plaque record does not grant entry to a building or private land. View it from a public place unless permission is clearly given.
