What is recorded here
The National Monuments Record of Wales records Samtampa as Wreck from the 20fed Ganrif period. The saved point comes from the official national record. Inclusion does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
The Samtampa was a coaster that ran aground in 1910 near Llangennith, Wales, during a severe storm. The wreck resulted in the loss of all six crew members and is notable as one of the last major shipwrecks in the area before the establishment of modern life-saving services.
The historic-place record does not grant public access. Check current conditions and ownership before entering land or a building.
