A graveyard contributing to the setting of Saint John's Church (see 12000213). NOTE: The ruined choir is the setting for the effigial tomb of the Purcells with a headless knight in armour and female figure in stiff abbess gown-like garb [SMR KK019-026242-]. The earliest burial following the reconstruction of Saint John's Church was 'Mrs. ELEANOR BAILLIE of Kilkenny College who closed an eminently useful life on April 27th April 1821 aged 67 Years'. The graveyard also includes the standardised ""Commonwealth War Graves"" of Private John Irwin Allen (1891-1918) of the 2nd King Edward's Horse and Second Lieutenant Leslie Hyde Arthur (1896-1915) of the Royal Horse Artillery.
