Kinloch Castle, Steading stands as a post Medieval farmstead on Rum, its stones still arranged for human use long after the hands that placed them disappeared. The castle lent its name to the working land below, binding noble pride and daily bread in one valley. Perhaps residents measured wealth in barley and sheep rather than gold, turning castle shadow into kitchen heat.
