Kinloch Castle's octagonal dairy stands whitewashed against the Highland sky, its red sandstone corners still sharp beneath a modern asbestos roof. Sir George Bullough built the lodge for Monica Lily, a woman whose past tangled Carrington brewing gold and royal rumour, yet the small building remains the clearest marker of their private world. Iron columns hold the pitched roof above rooms where cream may have churned and whispers echoed, while lower wings flank the main chamber like quiet sentinels. The dairy endures as a compact monument to ambition, desire and the stubbornness of stone.
