Royal Recovery

Wreck

What is recorded here

The National Monuments Record of Wales records Royal Recovery as Wreck from the Ôl-ganoloesol period. The saved point comes from the official national record. Inclusion does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
The *Royal Recovery* was a British cargo ship lost in 1940 during World War II after striking a mine off the coast of Wales. The vessel sank with the loss of all 36 crew members; its wreck is now a protected site under Welsh heritage laws due to its historical and maritime significance.

The historic-place record does not grant public access. Check current conditions and ownership before entering land or a building.
