This blue commemorative plaque records: This facade was added to the factory of Rowe Bros & Co in 1921 by Peter Hing Architect. It was restored for the CBSO Society Ltd by Associated Architects in 1998 Recorded plaque organisation: CBSO Society Ltd.
Rowe Bros & Co were prominent organ builders, contributing significantly to church and concert hall music across Britain; the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra (CBSO) is a major British orchestra known for its premieres of contemporary works and has occupied the nearby Symphony Hall since 1973.
