Round Pool is a Post Medieval reservoir inside Powis Castle Park, recorded in the National Monuments Record of Wales. It is the kind of water made for people, not born for them, which means the land around it was shaped to carry rain, supply gardens or serve the castle in ways no longer written down. The pool still does that work quietly, filling the darkness under the trees and returning light in small white curves.
