Round Cairn in Slaghtneill is a Bronze Age burial mound where people placed stones around a dead body and left the chamber behind. It stands in County Derry as a small round hill of purpose, not a vague heap. The dead may have been a parent, a traveller or a child, but the living still gave that person a shape large enough for others to remember.
