Round barrow cemetery, dating to the Early Bronze Age (c. 2000–1500 BCE), consists of multiple burial mounds and is significant as a rare surviving example of a prehistoric cemetery in the region. The Three Howes barrows are representative of communal burial practices and social organisation of the time.
