What is recorded here

Lacknacoo in County Donegal once held a bullaun stone and cupmarks, but those markers have vanished from human memory. Kinahan wrote them down in 1889, yet no one can now show the exact rock or explain what hands cut those small wells. The site resists description, which suggests it belongs more to dream than measurement. Perhaps the cups drank rain for people who no longer remember their own names.
