What is recorded here

This green commemorative plaque records: Returning from exile on Tuesday 12 March 1471 King Edward IV and his brother Richard Duke of Gloucester (Richard III) made their first landfall at Cromer Recorded plaque organisation: Richard III Society.
King Edward IV of England restored the House of York to the throne during the Wars of the Roses, while his brother, Richard III, briefly ruled after Edward's death, though his reign was marred by controversy over the fate of the Princes in the Tower.
