What is recorded here

The National Monuments Record of Wales records Rhyl Lifeboat No 1 as Wreck from the Modern period. The saved point comes from the official national record. Inclusion does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
Rhyl Lifeboat No 1 was a modern-era lifeboat stationed at Rhyl, Wales, and was lost in 1891 during a storm while attempting to rescue the crew of the SS *Havelock*. The lifeboat capsized, resulting in the deaths of all six crew members, an event that highlighted the dangers faced by lifeboat crews and contributed to later improvements in maritime safety and rescue equipment.

The historic-place record does not grant public access. Check current conditions and ownership before entering land or a building.
