This commemorative plaque records: Reg Gregory 1922-2009. Reg was born in Verrier Road. A lifelong member of the 36th Boys Brigade (Redfield), he was also an active supporter of the Barton Hill History Group. Reg campaigned tirelessly for his local community and was the driving force in the creation of the Wellspring in 2004. Reg Gregory was a dedicated community leader from Bristol, known for his long-standing involvement with the Boys Brigade and his efforts in preserving local history through the Barton Hill History Group. He is remembered for his instrumental role in establishing the Wellspring Healthy Living Centre, significantly enhancing community health services.
