Red Castle is a line of twentieth-century anti-tank blocks in Angus, Scotland, built to stop steel wheels rather than human hearts. The concrete teeth still bite the earth where young soldiers once believed they were drawing a border around the world. Maybe a tank struck them and broke its own arrogance, or maybe the line held only because fear is a stronger wall than concrete.
Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Red Castle as Anti Tank Blocks (20th Century). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
