This bronze commemorative plaque records: This 16th Century, timber framed building was restored during the years 1979 to 1981 with funds provided by Wolverhampton Borough Council and the West Midlands County Council and Hortons Estate Limited, and opened by the Mayor of Wolverhampton, Councillor H. E. Lane OBE. On 9 February 1981. Recorded plaque organisation: Wolverhampton City Council.
