Tom Phillipson was a prolific striker for Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club from 1923 to 1928 and later served as Mayor of Wolverhampton in 1944-1945. Andrew Jemmet, his grandson, was a notable advocate for disability theatre and contributed significantly to inclusive performing arts.
