Whitbarrow Scar is a limestone sea cliff in Cumbria, formed during the Carboniferous period around 315–340 million years ago. It is notable for its well-exposed geological strata and as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) due to its fossil-rich rocks and diverse habitats.
