Dalmoak Castle is a Scottish baronial house built in 1866 for John Aiken, whose wine trade earned it the nickname Brandy Castle. It stands between Renton and Dumbarton, hiding older foundations beneath its marble and stone. Aiken’s wealth still echoes in his grand mausoleum at Glasgow Necropolis, while the estate once served as a royal hunting seat near the place where Robert the Bruce died.
