Three cabins and a watermill are marked on the Down Survey map (1655-58) in NLI (ms 725, microfilm P 7384, N 6380) of Rathmacknee parish at Rathmacknee, and the terrier, or commentary, mentions seven cabins, a slte house and a mill. The precise location of the mill cannot be identified.
