This commemorative plaque records: The Children's Corner. Given to the children of Warwick by Austin Edwards. Esquire in memory of his wife Claire Elizabeth who died April 3rd 1923. Formally opened by the right honourable the Countess of Warwick on Saturday June 23rd 1934. Mayor Alderman Major H.N.Forbes M.C. D.C.M. J.P.
