Crossing mouth of Bawnaknockane river where it enters Ballydehob Bay. Disused stone bridge of 12 semi-circular arches. Carried Skiberreen tramway and light railway from 1886 to 1952. (Barry 1985, 42). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
