Old Beaupre Castle is a ruined fortified manor in the Vale of Glamorgan where the Basset family lived from about 1300 until their fortunes declined after the English Civil War. Its smooth Renaissance porch, roofless hall and still-flowing drain make it feel less like a dead castle than like a house that stopped being wanted. The southeast block remains a working farmhouse, so the place never fully let go of people.
Old Beaupre Castle is shown as a ruins on the public map of Vale of Glamorgan. The saved point is the map point or the centre of its mapped shape.
