Hut site in Uragh

In rough hill pasture, on a NE-facing slope, overlooking Lough Inchiquin. The remains of a rectangular hut site (3.1m N-S; 1.4m E-W) defined by an earth and stone bank (T 0.8m; H 0.55m) with rounded corners. The bank is faced internally with upright stone slabs and it is overgrown externally. The N portion of the interior is raised (H 0.2m) and the S side is cut (D 0.3m) into the upslope to compensate for the hillslope.
