In rough hill pasture, on the N bank of a river, on an E-facing slope. A horseshoe-shaped mound (7m NW-SE; 7m NE-SW; H 0.4m) of burnt material eroded on the S side; the opening (2.4m NE-SW) faces NW. The ground slopes down steeply on the E and SE sides and a boggy area exists to the NW. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
