Field boundary in Uragh

In rough hill pasture, on an E-facing slope, overlooking Lough Inchiquin. A NE-SW wall (L c. 120m) meanders upslope through the centre of a large enclosure (KE101-065002-). Sections of the collapsed drystone wall (T 0.7m; H 0.4m) protrude intermittently above the surface of the bog. Further traces of relict field wall are visible to the E and NE of the enclosure. Two hut sites (KE101-065004-, KE101-065005-) abut the E side of the wall. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
