Unknown Townland in County Dublin holds one of three decorated stones from a vanished ringfort. The fort disappeared in the 1940s, but the stone remained with two designs: a cup mark surrounded by four rings and another cup mark with three rings. Those markings may have been a boundary, a prayer, a game or a warning. They still belong to the place, even when the wall that carried them no longer does.

This is one of three decorated stones that were formerly incorporated into a ringfort (ME009-063----) which was levelled in the 1940's (Shee-Twohig 2001, 120, A).
