Unknown Townland, County Dublin, Ireland, holds a stone marked with cup and circle motifs. The stone appeared during land reclamation in Ballinvalley, Co. Meath in 1969. Its old purpose may have been to guide memory, ceremony or passage, yet the marks still invite people to read them as living records rather than dead debris.

Likely dating to the Neolithic or Bronze Age, the cup and circle rock art may have held ritual or symbolic significance, possibly linked to water, fertility, or celestial events. Similar motifs are found across Ireland and Britain, often associated with ceremonial landscapes.
