One of two stones pulled from an underground passage at Lisnareabagh in Tinnahally now stands in County Dublin, bearing the name Tegann mac Deglan. Foley, innkeeper of Killorglin, showed them to Windele, who carried them to Cork and later into the Royal Irish Academy. The rough rectangle still holds the edge of a buried chamber, while distance has stripped it of its local witness.

This is the present location of one of two ogham stones from Tinnahally, Co. Kerry (KE057-105002-, see also KE057-105001- present location OF018-195----). Macalister (1945, 249) records that the 'two stones were raised from the Man-made underground passage of a fort, the name of which is given as "Lisnareabh," on lands in the occupation of a man called Foley, innkeeper of Killorglin, who showed them to Windele. Windele acquired them and removed them to Cork; they are now in the Royal Irish Academy's collection.' There is a ringfort (KE057-006----) in the townland of Tinnahally named 'Lisnareabagh' on the OS 6-inch map and it contains a Man-made underground passage (KE057-006001-). It seems probable that the stones came from here. The stone measures 1.77m x 0.55m x 0.43m (5 feet 10 inches x 1 foot 10 inches x 1 foot 5 inches). The inscription reads: ANM TEGANN MAC DEGLANN (Macalister 1945, 251, no. 256; McManus 1991, 65). This stone has been studied as part of the ‘Ogham in 3D’ project undertaken by the School of Celtic Studies, Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies.
