Ogham stone (present location) in Unknown Townland

Two fragments of one large granite stone found in the neighbourhood of Baltinglass (see WI027-079----) and bearing the remnants of the following inscription(s). Fragment 1 (1: 0.67m x 0.57m x 0.24m): [ . . ? . . ]CCI MAQ[ . . ? . . ], fragment 2 (0.67m x 0.51m x 0.03m): [ . . ? . .]INI[ . . ? . . ] (converted from Macalister 1945, 53-4, no. 49). The stone was evidently deliberately broken up for use in wall building. (Grogan and Kilfeather 1997, no. 1005) This stone has been studied as part of the ‘Ogham in 3D’ project undertaken by the School of Celtic Studies, Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies.
