No. 29 South Frederick Street is an early 18th-century house (NIAH No. 50100099; RPS No. 2994) listed as a Dutch Billy type house identified and listed by Dublin Civic Trust in the Survey of Gable-Fronted Houses & Other Gable Fronted Buildings (2012). Described by the NIAH as a; 'four-storey gable-fronted former house over basement, built c. 1740, having three-bay ground and two-bay upper floors, and with two slightly lower returns to rear, that to south being slightly lower than that to north.
