No. 28 South Frederick Street is an early 18th-century house (NIAH No. 50100098; RPS No. 2993) listed as a Dutch Billy type house identified and listed by Dublin Civic Trust in the Survey of Gable-Fronted Houses & Other Gable Fronted Buildings (2012).  Described by the NIAH as a; 'four-storey former house over basement, built c. 1740, having three-bay ground floor and two-bay upper floors, and with slightly lower return to south end of rear. Modified c. 1810 and c. 1840-60. Now in use as offices'.    Compiled by: Caimin O'Brien based on details provided by Sean Finlay-Scott
