No. 22 South Frederick Street is an early 18th-century house (NIAH No. 50100092; RPS No. 2987) listed as a Dutch Billy type house identified and listed by Dublin Civic Trust in the Survey of Gable-Fronted Houses & Other Gable Fronted Buildings (2012). Described by the NIAH as a; 'two-bay four-storey former house over concealed basement, built c. 1740, modified in nineteenth century and having full-height gable-ended return to rear running behind most of Nos. 17-19 Nassau Street.
