What is recorded here
G. Yd. is a walled graveyard in County Dublin holding 18th and 19th century memorials. Its rectangular shape and standing wall suggest a community that marked death with pride rather than hiding it. The stones may have guided mourners through grief, recorded local names, and kept a neighbourhood’s memory alive long after the people forgot the shapes of the lives behind them.
A roughly rectangular graveyard enclosed by a wall. There are 18th and 19th century memorials within the graveyard.
