St. Michael's Close: This gate is mentioned in a Twelfth century deed and it stood at the bottom of MacGilla Mogholmóc's Street now St. Michael's Close (Gilbert 1854-9, 1, 230; Bradley and King 1987, Vol. 1, 55).
