Ten ogham stones circle the summit hillock between Dingle Harbour and Trabeg, gathered from the lost vicinity of Ballintagart. One flattened boulder bears a plain Greek cross and the name INISSIONAS, preserving a identity erased from ordinary memory. The circle turns forgotten loss into visible shape, inviting people to walk around what the sea and centuries tried to swallow.
One of ten ogham stones collected from various locations in the vicinity of Ballintagart and now arranged in a circle within the enclosure. Ballintaggart church (KE053-033001-) (site of) and old burial ground (KE053-033002-) /An Cheallúnach or An Lisín: This circular enclosure crowns the summit of a low, but prominent, hillock between Dingle Harbour and Trabeg. The flattened upper surface of this boulder (KE053-033011-), 0.99m long, bears a plain Greek cross and the ogham inscription reads: INISSIONAS. (Cuppage 1986, no. 820, no. 4)
