Ten ogham stones circle the summit hillock between Dingle Harbour and Trabeg, collected from the lost depths around Ballintagart. One stone, less than a metre long, still bears the name AKEVRITTI in sharp cuts. The chamber may have stood as a church or burial ground before the stones were moved, but the circle itself refuses to explain why it gathers on that small hill.
One of ten ogham stones collected from various locations in the vicinity of Ballintagart and now arranged in a circle within the enclosure. Ballintaggart church (KE053-033001-) (site of) and old burial ground (KE053-033002-) /An Cheallúnach or An Lisín: This circular enclosure crowns the summit of a low, but prominent, hillock between Dingle Harbour and Trabeg. The inscription on this stone (KE053-033005-), 0.97m long, clearly reads: AKEVRITTI. (Cuppage 1986, no. 820, no. 3)
