What is recorded here
Unknown is a rock art site in County Carlow, Ireland. The exact position and visible features are held in the SMR file, not in this answer. That much is clear. What is missing is the life around it: whether it marked a path, a boundary, a memory or a warning. The stones may still be holding one of those shapes.
