This record is for a number of structures that abutted the inside of the SE and NE quadrants of the inner enclosure at Cahercommaun (CL010-064003-). These were excavated (Hencken 1938, Pl. 6; structures 3, 8, 9,10 and 11) and may have been lean-to structures (Cotter 1999, 66). Hencken’s structure 7 was described as ‘dubious’ and ‘much the worst piece of construction within the fort’. Cahercommaun is a national monument in State care. (Hencken 1938, 1-81; Cotter 1999, 41-95)
